For Love Or Money

THE STORY

What was your dream?  We’ve all had one.  Especially in our 20s.  Do you remember that time?  When the world, at least through your eyes, was greener and full of potential. When you felt invincible and just knew you would achieve your dreams.  But did you? Did you get close to it?  What happened? What about those trusted souls on the journey with you? Do you remember the bonds of friendship that were so tight they were stronger than family?  The ones you were so sure could never break?  Did you test those bonds? Are they as strong today as they were then?  These are the themes and questions explored in For Love Or Money, a story about a band born in a shared dream, and pushed to its limits by the very pursuit of it.

U2 in the song Zooropa declared “we’re going to dream up the world we want to live in, we’re going to dream out loud.”  It’s an epic call to dream big, and live out loud.  Conversely, Bruce Springsteen achingly wondered “Is a dream a lie if it don’t come true? Or is it something worse?” in the song The River, a haunting commentary on living in the shadow of broken dreams.   Dreams and their pursuit are at the core of anyone trying to start a band.  These two epic song quotes at the heart of the unbelievable story, inspired by true events, about the band at the center of For Love Or Money.
